Architectures most powerful revealed
Decor Systems this year supplied wall and ceiling panelling systems to one of eight architects and designers named among Sydney’s most influential people by the Sydney Morning Herald.
Design Director at FJMT, Richard Francis-Jones was dubbed ‘the environmentalist’ by the paper for designing the super-sustainable Surry Hills Library and Community Centre that opened earlier this year.
Using a selection of the DecorFire wall and ceiling panelling system pre-finished in DecorEnviro Low VOC coating, along with DecorPly perforated ceiling panels in the Centre’s design, Francis-Jones created a centre whereby air is cooled naturally under the building and rainwater is collected and reused.
